1 banana 1/4 cup honey 1/2 cup plain yoghurt
Benefits: Banana's are filled with anti-oxidants and vitamins which will work to strengthen and nourish the follicles and encourage a healthy scalp. With bananas also being rich in potassium, they're great for stimulating hair growth, not to mention lots of moisture to revitalise dry, brittle hair.
Honey is a great conditioner, it seals in moisture and strengthens hair follicles. It is a natural anti-oxidant so it will keep your scalp clean and healthy and promote hair growth. Adding this to your hair will guarantee shiner, softer and healthier locks!
Finally the natural yoghurt is full of protein, which offers nourishment and strength to your locks, preventing future breakage. It also contains lactic acids, which is a great cleanser for your locks and will help get rid of any dandruff and dead skin on the scalp.
Before adding the other 2 ingredients, puree the banana by either mashing or blending until smooth in texture.
Then stir in the honey and yoghurt, until you have a smooth yet thick consistency.
Allow the mask to soak in your hair for 20-30 minutes (or longer for maximised benefits) then rinse well.
